About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Automotive Technician to compliment our current staff. This individual should be skilled in diagnostics and repair work that coincides with their experience; and have the ability to work independently. Ideal candidates should have a positive, upbeat demeanor; clean, professional image; and be passionate about providing our customers with best-in-class service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair both simple and complex vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.).
- Use specialty diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to service manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow company procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of verifiable hands-on experience in a professional auto repair shop.
- Strong diagnostic ability.
- Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain:
- Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection and Emission Inspection License.
- Mobile Air Conditioning 609 Certification.
- ASE Certification (Master Level & L1 Advanced Level is a plus).
- Must own a basic tool set (specialty and scan tools provided).
- Ability to operate factory and aftermarket scan tools.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to work both independently, as well as collaborate with other team members to both teach and learn.
- Must have a customer-first mindset.
- Must possess a positive, upbeat demeanor and clean, professional image.
- If you currently do not have all of the certifications, we will assist you in obtaining them.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25.00 to $45.00 per hour based on skills, certifications and experience. Our top associates earn at the top end of the range.
- No evening or weekend hours.
- Paid time off, equivalent to 3 weeks per year.
